Ok here's the story so far... in1998 Chris, Brian, Carl and Paul were all in the same music class at school.  When we had to play our first music ensemble we found out we were the only people in the class that could even play the guitar, we went in the same group and played "time of your life" sadly by gayday (oops I mean greenday).  We played it pretty shitty but the teacher gave us A's anyway.  From then on it was too easy we played all music tests together.  Brian and Paul was alwayz talkin' about getting a band together, so by the year 2000 Brian tried to get a band together with Carl, himself and Paul, they tried to get Chris to join but he was already in a band.

There were two guitarists and a bass'st.... yet something was missing, derr drums! .  Anyway we tried our best to find a drummer but it was a no go.  Then one day one of our mates "Alfy" bought the gayest drum kit in the world for 50 bucks, it had yellow leopard fluffy covering all over it with no skins on the bottom of the drums or on the front of the kick!  Anywayz that was all we could find so we tested him out, he he he, had no coordination at all so we got this other fella from school that could kinda play simple beats (Josh Rumble).

We had about two band practices with him and discovered that a dude in our grade (Tim Clark) had his own drum kit that wasn't crap.  We gave him a go and damn he was so much better than anyone else we ever tried,  after our first practice we found out Chris's band broke up so naturally we asked him to play for us straight away.  He agreed and came to our next practice, at that time we were just jammin' under Brian's house so after the first practice with Chris he offered to have practices at his place.  We didn't' really know what to expect but when we turned up it was like heaven, we had an awesome sound proof shed with a stage and drum riser and big ass P.A. system.

From then on it became a bit more serious we played more of a variety of songs and we got into the "Freaky Arts Festival" now well known as "Rapid Music Festival".  We pulled out of that  with about a week to go due to technical reasons.

Late March in 2001 Tim got sick of playing our heavy metal and we got sick of him trying to get us to play his Led Zepplin and deep purple so Tim kindly left the band.  We were on the search for a new drummer, I remember I had seen this guy that goes to our school in a lower grade play the drums and he was pretty good his name was Shan.  Shan was already in a band but it wasn't too hard to persuade him to play for us, after our fist practice with him he agreed to join and he dropped his other band.

After about 6 or seven months of hard rockin' with our new drummer we entered the Bray Park Talent Quest, we weren't allowed to play any of our heavy shit so we played a Metallica slow song Medley.  We played "Sanitarium" and "Nothing Else Matters" and Chris burning up with a "Joe Satriani" solo for the intro.  We won and got a money voucher for HMV music store.

Well there you go there's our story of how our band became.
